The [Syrian] Foreign and Expatriates Ministry stressed that the robbery of a thousand factories in Aleppo and their transfer to Turkey with the knowledge and facilitation of the Turkish government is considered “an illegal act that amounts to piracy”.
The Ministry’s stress came in two identical letters it addressed on Thursday to the Chairman of the UN Security Council and the UN Secretary General on the robbery of these factories and the transfer of the properties to Turkey with its government’s full knowledge.
The Ministry described the robbery and transfer as “an act of aggression” that targets the Syrians in their sources of living and economic life.
“This act indicates once again the Turkish ambitions and the sabotage role Turkey is playing in the crisis in Syria, and reveals as well its intentions towards the Syrian people,” said the letters, adding that this act also “affirms [Turkey's] false claims in caring for the Syrians’ life and the major requirements of their living.”
The Ministry slammed these practices as “immoral” as they “constitute a flagrant violation of the principles of good neighborliness and non-interference in the countries’ internal affairs”.
“[These practices] are a direct contribution in a cross-border crime and acts of piracy, which demands an international reaction that should be up to the wide scale of damage caused to the Syrian people and their economic and commercial capabilities,” the letters added.
The Ministry reaffirmed that a reaction is demanded by the Security Council that should be up to the responsibilities and the obligations it assumes in the field of combating terrorism and maintaining international security and peace.
Such a reaction is necessitated, the Ministry stressed, in light of the support given by a neighboring country like Turkey to terrorism and the providing of helping conditions for looting Syria’s resources across the border and destroying the Syrians’ capabilities and sources of living, in addition to facilitating the exploitation of these capabilities for the sake of backing terrorism inside Syria.
The Ministry demanded that the UN Security Council and the UN Secretary General “issue a clear condemnation of these acts of sabotage and terrorism and take necessary measures to hold to account their perpetrators and the regional and international countries and forces standing behind them.”
This condemnation, the letters said, is supposed to “reflect the international organization’s rejection of any additional contribution by the countries that are hostile towards Syria to further aggravate the living conditions of the Syrian people and increase their humanitarian suffering.”
The Foreign and Expatriates Ministry called for taking all legal measures against the Turkish government to compel it to give back the stolen properties to their owners and pay all compensations to the affected according to the relevant enforced rules of the international law, in addition to getting it to immediately stop repeating such practices now and in the future.

Money Wired from Europe to Tunisian Salafis to Recruit Youths to Fight in Syria

A number of leaders and members of Tunisian salafi groups are receiving money on regular basis from Europe via money orders, Tunisian Tanit Pres
s newspaper said on its website.

The newspaper said that the amount of money ranges between 1500 and 2000 Tunisian dinars each time.

The newspaper added that the money is allocated to recruit youths from Tunisia and Libya to be sent to Syria via Turkey, highlighting that the operation is being carried out in coordination with Turkey and Jabhet al-Nusra front, which is the branch Of al-Qaeda in Syria.

The report said that the recruited persons are being sent to training camps in Libya, adding that these camps are funded by the Qatari ambassador.

If No To BLA, Then Why Yes To FSA? Same Groups, Different Countries.

I am Pakistani and I respect my fellow Pakistanis and their opinion.
But for some days when I talk about Syrian political crisis now days, I am hearing from some of my Pakistani friends that "Syrian rebels are good guys because they are fighting their government".
I respect them and I respect their opinion but I question them one thing.

You people know BLA. BLA is a small, probably having its last breaths, terrorist organization whose members were once fighting against Pakistan ARMY and Pakistan government to liberate Baluchistan.

I talked to some people in Pakistan about their opinion on BLA and their response was quite negative. That is correct, it SHOULD be negative because negative things (like BLA) have negative impacts.
But then people started getting confused when I asked them their opinion about FSA.

FSA, for those who do not know, is a small militant wing of opposition party in Syria. This (hardly an) organization is now days fighting Syrian regime to overthrown it and indirectly, liberating Syria.

But in the response to my question, turned out my fellow Pakistanis supported FSA.

Now things will start getting confused, so get ready because I ask YOU:

1. BLA is fighting PAK ARMY because they think they are liberating Baluchistan because they think the Paksitani government is cruel to Baluchis. We know they are funded by foreign powers like India, US and others. Me and You both are against BLA.
2. FSA is doing quite similar things there in Syria. They are fighting Syrian ARMY because they think they can liberate Syria from the present regime because they think Syrian regime is cruel to Syrians. We all know and there are solid proofs that US, Israel and NATO are backing these rebels. I am against FSA, Why are you not?

They say BLA wants to destabilize Pakistan because Pakistan is the only Islamic power.

I say Yes, "thats why BLA is terrorist. But Think, FSA is destabilizing Syria too because Syria is the only neighbor of Israel that is not allowing Israel to sleep sound at nights."

They say BLA is killing Innocent Balochs. I say, "Yes thats why BLA is bad. But look at FSA, dont you see any similarity?" You are blind if you do not see similarity.

They say BLA is funded by US and NATO. I say, "thats why BLA is paid terrorist but look at FSA's source of weapons!"

You hate BLA, good. BLA should be hated, they are not Baloch. Baloch are our brothers and BLA sould be condemned on every level. I condemn BLA acts of terror. But at the same time I also condemn FSA's acts of terror in Syria. Why can't you?

For example, Its like you have a full glass of water and you "like" half of it and "hate" other half. The water is same for crying out loud!

BLA is rebel organisation, they fight Pak ARMY and Me and You both say "BLA is bad, they kill, no to BLA". And on the other hand, FSA is fighting Syrian ARMY, I say "FSA is bad" then Why don't you?

"Freedom Fighters": The Foot Soldiers of the American Empire

Since the end of World War II, the Anglo-American Empire has covertly supported the deployment of foreign and domestic "foot soldiers", including terrorists and paramilitary brigades to bring about regime change and further its agenda of World domination.

One of the earlier examples of such a modus operandi, still widely ignored, is Gladio, "NATO's European stay-behind army", active during the Cold War. Controlled by the CIA and Britain's MI6, Gladio members orchestrated terrorist attacks in Western Europe, which were blamed on Communist entities.

Gladio was falsely presented to key European state officials as a stand-by secret army ready to counter a possible communist take over. The ultimate goal of Gladio was to demonize the Communist and Socialist parties and encourage European citizens to endorse their governments' commitment to "National security".

American citizens were not exempt from such scheming. As Prof. James F. Tracy explains:

"The string of still unresolved US political assassinations throughout the 1960s suggest how such practices were not restricted to foreign countries. Nor were they solely the terrain of intelligence agencies. Along lines similar to Gladio, in the early 1960s the US Joint Chiefs of Staff proposed Operation Northwoods, where terrorist attacks would be initiated against US civilians in American cities and the violence blamed on Cuban combatants to justify war against the island nation.[2] The Kennedy administration rejected the proposal. While Northwoods exhibited the capacity for government to conceive and propose such plans, Gladio was demonstrably carried out against Western civilian populations in multiple locations over many years." (Prof. James F. Tracy False Flag Terror and Conspiracies of Silence.)
http://www.globalresearch.ca/index.php?context=va&aid=32299

The recruitment of paramilitary armies and death squads played a key role in the conduct of US foreign policy. These “secret soldiers” were turned into highly visible “freedom fighters”, waging the Empire’s war at the forefront and in plain sight: Afghan Mujahideen, Nicaraguan Contras, Kosovar and Haitian rebels, etc.
As recent history has proven, the Western powers are still using this virtuous terminology to describe their foot soldiers, their terrorists in the Middle-East: the “pro-democracy Libyan rebels” and the “Free Syrian Army”. But who’s “freedom” and “liberty” are they fighting for? If an armed gang such as the “Free Syrian Army” invaded any Western street, they would be labelled as terrorists and promptly crushed by the national Defense.
The mainstream media not only ignores history, it distorts reality, it omits to report essential information. It never "connects the dots". As Tony Cartalucci notes:
As West berates Syria for "killing civilians" Western weapons flow into terrorist hands from NATO. The New York Times in their article, "C.I.A. Said to Aid in Steering Arms to Syrian Opposition,"(http://www.nytimes.com/2012/06/21/world/middleeast/cia-said-to-aid-in-steering-arms-to-syrian-rebels.html?_r=1&pagewanted=all )confirms what many have already long known - that the West, led by the

US and its Gulf State proxies, have been arming terrorists, particularly the Muslim Brotherhood, while berating the Syrian government for "violating" a UN mandated ceasefire and for "failing to protect" its population. (Tony Cartalucci CONFIRMED: US CIA Arming Terrorists in Syria)
http://www.globalresearch.ca/index.php?context=va&aid=31537

These omissions and distortions result in a Kafkaesque interpretation of reality which eventually becomes, with the exception of the independent alternative media, a mainstream media consensus serving dominant financial and political interests.

Here is a short list of recent articles on Western freedom fighters, together with selected articles from our archives. You can also browse our archives for many more articles on the subject.

Oh Humanity! What Have You Done To Deserve These Animal Terrorists?!

Damascus:  The Swiss-magazine reports that a four-year-old boy hanged publicly after witnessing  how his mother, father, sisters, brothers and grandparents were murdered.
Picture is "Blurred" for some purpose
After seeng his mother, sisters, brother, father and grand parents's death, the 4 year old Shiite boy was kicked and punched and publicly hanged in the district of Zainab in Damascus.
IS THIS THEIR FUCKING REVOLUTION???
Iraqi human rights activists, who are the source of this news item,  are saying that a “rebel group” stormed the house of the Shiite Iraqi family, which is a clear indication that religious motivation  drives this extreme violence.
Also a clear indication about the beliefs of these rebels. And a clear indication that  genocide of all non-Sunnis their goal. The human rights group sent this report along with photos. The photo that showed the editors had to be deleted.
Because of many protests and threats to  us, we have removed  the image of the hanged boy  because of its cruelty  Overall, there are 8 photos, the boy without pants hanging from a wall, close-up images of  his battered and smashed face and worse. Please understand that we do not want to  publish these photos any longer.  They are so terrible that they make grown men weep.

Syrian Opposition (Rebels) and Israeli Official Envoy Held Meeting In Bulgaria

FSA Rebel Flag
Deputy Minister's aide holds talks with Syria opposition, presents himself as 'official' Israeli envoy. Meeting between
Deputy Minister Ayoob Kara’s bureau chief, Syrian dissidents takes place in Bulgaria; FM Lieberman demands Netanyahu reprimand Kara.

http://www.haaretz.com/blogs/diplomania/deputy-minister-s-aide-holds-talks-with-syria-opposition-presents-himself-as-official-israeli-envoy.premium-1.458772

Why is Deputy Minister for the Development of the Negev and the Galilee Ayoob Kara’s bureau chief traveling around world presenting himself as the State of Israel's envoy in charge of dialogue with the Syrian opposition?

This is exactly the question that Israel’s Ambassador to Bulgaria Shaul Kamisa asked in a harsh cable he sent recently to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Jerusalem.Kara’s bureau chief Mandi Safadi arrived in Sofia three weeks ago.

A press release issued by Kara’s bureau before the trip stated that the deputy minister had been invited to meet with people from the Syrian opposition at the parliament in Sofia, but since he was unable to go himself he was sending his bureau chief in his stead. The embarrassing events that followed were detailed in the ambassador's cable, dispatched on August 13 under the heading

“Conduct requiring examination and action – Is Mr. Safadi the deputy minister for the development of the Negev and the Galilee? Diplomatic involvement?”
“Two and a half weeks ago Mr. Safadi phoned and identified himself to the secretary as the deputy minister for the development of the Negev and the Galilee,” wrote the ambassador. “In a conversation with me he identified himself as an aide to and envoy of Deputy Minister Ayoob Kara who intends to visit Bulgaria as Kara’s envoy to deal with contact and cooperation with the Syrian opposition in Bulgaria, through a number of meetings with parliamentarians.”
Kamisa inquired as to whether Deputy Minister Kara’s bureau chief was sent an official representative of the government of Israel, and made it clear that if so he had to coordinate his visit through the Foreign Ministry in Jerusalem. Only after I receive confirmation from the Foreign Minister will I cooperate with your visit, Kamisa told Safadi.

In the cable, Kamisa wrote that from that point on he had no further contact with Kara’s bureau chief. However, a week later the embassy received a phone call from the editorial offices of The Standard, the second largest newspaper in Bulgaria. The reporter told the embassy press officer that he had conducted an interview with Safadi, who presented himself as an official envoy of the State of Israel working on cooperation with the Syrian opposition.

“The informing of the embassy and the understanding of the gravity of the interview prior to its publication and the damage that was liable to be caused as a result of this led the undersigned and the embassy staff to apply pressure on the newspaper editorial offices to stop the distribution of the interview,” wrote Kamisa in the cable. “The pressure was successful and the report was not published.”Kamisa added that he had made it clear to the editors that Safadi “was working solely on his own and without any connection or coordination with the Foreign Ministry in Jerusalem or with the embassy.”

Kamisa also reported that Safadi had showed up at the home of the bus driver who was killed in the terror attack in Burgas and introduced himself to the family as an official representative of the government of Israel.

“I recommend examining whether Mr. Safadi is indeed an official employee of the Ministry for the Development of the Negev and the Galilee and what his status and authority are concerning diplomatic activities and sensitive issues like liaison and mediation vis-à-vis the Syrian opposition in Bulgaria,” wrote Kamisa.

The ambassador is considered to be close to Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman, who named him to his as a political appointment. According to a Foreign Ministry source, when Kamisa’s cable reached Lieberman, the foreign minister reacted angrily, briefed Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and demanded that he reprimand Deputy Minister Kara.

A few months earlier, Lieberman had already sent Netanyahu a letter of complaint against Kara in the wake of a series of meetings the latter held in Austria with representatives of an extreme right-wing party whose members are perceived by the Jewish community and the Israeli Embassy as identified with a neo-Nazi ideology.

At that time Netanyahu did not reprimand Kara, but this time he could not ignore Lieberman’s complaint. Netanyahu spoke with Kara, reprimanded him and stressed that he must avoid such conduct in the future.

On Wednesday, I phoned both Deputy Minister Kara and his bureau chief Mandi Safadi to get their version of the incident. Contrary to the press release issued by his bureau prior to Safadi’s trip, in conversation Kara denied any connection to his bureau chief’s trip. He insisted that Safadi had indeed gone to Bulgaria as an official representative of the State of Israel.

“My aide was sent to Sofia on behalf of elements in the government, but not on my behalf,” he maintained.

Subsequently, Kara modified his version a bit.

“My aide was invited by the Bulgarian Parliament for a discussion of the Syrian issue and met with persons who cannot be spoken about publicly,” said the deputy minister. “I don’t want to talk about this because it is a sensitive matter. These are things one doesn’t talk about in the media. I am not a party to this at all and it was not done on my behalf.”
Kara’s bureau chief Mandi Safadi also insisted that his trip to Bulgaria, along with his meeting with Syrian opposition figures, were conducted at the behest of an unnamed government body.

“There are things the ambassador doesn’t know,” Safadi told me. “There are also things I do that Deputy Minister Kara doesn’t know about, which I can’t expand on in the media. If, in addition to his official position, a public servant can do service for another body that belongs to the same government, then he does it.”

Safadi, a native of the Druze village of Majdal Shams in the Golan Heights, claimed to have extensive connections with the Syrian opposition and hinted that, in the past, he had organized meetings between the foreign minister and Syrian opposition figures.

“When Lieberman wanted me to organize meetings for him he had no problem,” said Safadi. “I do not intend to expand on with whom and about what.”
Safadi also claimed that, contrary to what the ambassador claimed, he had in fact informed people at the Foreign Ministry about his trip to Bulgaria and had also briefed Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon about his talks upon his return to Israel.According to Safadi, the ambassador’s letter of complaint stemmed solely from egoistic motives.

“I informed the ambassador of my trip and my timetable,” said Safadi. “What angered the ambassador was the publication of my visit to the family of the driver who was killed in the attack in Burgas. His ego got the better of him and he sent a cable that has no basis in truth.”
ED NOTES:

SAFADI ADMITS THE FOREIGN MINISTRY HAD KNOWLEDGE OF THIS MEETING,I LOVE IT..HERE IS WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE,THAT INDEED THIS WAS A BACKCHANNEL MEETING BETWEEN ISRAHELLS ENVOY AND SYRIAN OPPOSITION IN BULGARIA...WHEN STANDARD PAPER GOT WIND OF THIS AND EXPOSED IT THE LIKUDNIKS WENT INTO DAMAGE CONTROL TO CLAIM THIS WASNT SNACTIONED AT TOP ECHELONS IN TEL AVIV ..I LOVE IT...EXPOSED AGAIN.

Turkey Playing With Syrian Freedom, Will Backfire!

Turkey itself is a major target for destabilization, upheaval, and finally balkanization through its participation in the US-led
siege against Syria. Ankara has burned its bridges in Syria for the sake of its failing neo-Ottoman regional policy. The Turkish government has actively pursued regime change, spied on Syria for NATO and Israel, violated Syrian sovereignty, supported acts of terrorism and lawlessness, and provided logistical support for the insurgency inside Syria.

Any chances of seeing some form of Turkish regional leadership under neo-Ottomanism have faded. Turkey’s southern borders have been transformed into intelligence and logistical hubs for the CIA and the Mossad in the process, complete with an intelligence «nerve centre» in the Turkish city of Adana. Despite Turkey’s denials, reports about Adana are undeniable and Turkish officers have also been apprehended in covert military operations against the Syrian Arab Republic. The Turkish Labour Party has even demanded that the US General Consul in Adana be deported for «masterminding and leading the activities of Syrian terrorists». (http://www.strategic-culture.org/news/2012/06/07/turkey-taking-a-risk-with-the-us-in-syria.html) Mehmet Ali Ediboglu and Mevlut Dudu, two Turkish MPs, have also testified that foreign fighters have been renting homes on Turkey’s border with Syria and that Turkish ambulances have been helping smuggle weapons for the insurgents inside Syria.

Turkish Regional Isolation

If the Syrian state collapses, neighbouring Turkey will be the biggest loser. Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his government are foolishly aligning Turkey for disaster. Aside from Ankara’s historically bad relations with Armenia, Erdogan has managed to singlehandedly alienate Russia and three of Turkey’s most important neighbours. This has damaged the Turkish economy and disrupted the flow of Turkish goods. There have been clamp downs on activists too in connection with Turkey’s policy against Damascus. The freedom of the Turkish media has been affected as well; Erdogan has moved forward with legislation to restrict media freedoms. Prime Minister Erdogan and Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu have even both attacked «reporters who quoted President Assad’s statements in Cumhuriyet, accusing them of treason, because they had questioned the official Turkish account of the Turkish jet shot down by in Syria [for spying]».

To Turkey’s eastern flank tensions are building between it and both Iraq and Iran. Baghdad is reviewing its diplomatic ties with the Turkish government, because Ankara is encouraging the Kurdistan ( http://www.strategic-culture.org/news/2012/04/22/kurds-syria-and-the-chessboard.html ) Regional Government in Northern Iraq to act independently of Iraq’s federal government. Erdogan’s government has done this partially as a result of Baghdad’s steadfast opposition to regime change in Syria and in part because of Iraq’s strengthening alliance with Iran. Tehran on the other hand has halted the visa-free entry of Turkish citizens into Iran and warned the Turkish government that it is stroking the flames of a regional fire in Syria that will eventually burn Turkey too.

Growing Internal Divisions in Turkey
Despite all the patriotic speeches being made by the Turkish government to rally the Turkish people against Syria, Turkey is a much divided nation over Erdogan’s hostilities with Damascus. A significant portion of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey or Turkish Meclis and Turkey’s opposition parties have all condemned Erdogan for misleading the Turkish people and stirring their country towards disaster. There is also growing resentment amongst the citizens of Turkey about Erdogan’s cooperation with the US, NATO, Israel, and the Arab dictatorships – like Qatar and Saudi Arabia – against the Syrians and others. The majority of Turkish citizens oppose Turkish ties to Israel, the hosting of NATO facilities in Turkey, the missile shield project, and cooperation with the US in the Middle East.

The Republican People’s Party, Turkey’s second largest political party its main opposition party, has condemned the government in Ankara over Syria. Their leader, Kemal Kilicdaroglu, has openly accused Prime Minister Erdogan of interfering in the internal affairs of Syria. Kilicdaroglu has been joined by Turkey’s other political parties in the condemnations of Erdogan and his ruling Justice and Development Party. Devlet Bahceli, the leader of the Nationalist Movement Party, has warned the Turkish government not to drag their country into a war with Syria through intervention. «Some Western countries have put pressure on Turkey for an intervention in Syria. Turkey should not fall into this trap,» Bahceli, who leads the third largest Turkish political party, has warned Erdogan according to the Turkish press. The Peace and Democracy Party, which is the fourth largest Turkish political party, has also clarified that it is against war with Syria. The politician Selahattin Demirtas, who is one of the leaders of the Peace and Democracy Party, has warned that any military intervention by Ankara ( http://www.strategic-culture.org/news/2012/07/13/prospects-for-military-intervention-in-syria.html ) in Syria would drag Turkey into a broader regional war. Hasan Basri Ozbey, the deputy leader of the Turkish Labour Party, has announced that his political party will file a complaint against Turkish President Abdullah Gul with the Turkish Meclis and the Turkish Higher Court to prosecute Gul, because the Labour Party «has clear evidence that [Gul] incited terrorism and war on Syria and signed a secret agreement with the United States, which alone is grounds for trial». Mustafa Kamalak, the leader of the Felicity Party, has even led a Turkish delegation to visit Bashar Al-Assad to show their support for Syria and opposition to Erdogan’s policies.

The mobilization of the Turkish military on the Syrian border as a show of force is a psychological tactic to scare the Syrian regime. Any large-scale military operations against the Syrians would be very dangerous for Turkey and could fragment the Turkish Armed Forces. Segments of the Turkish military are at odds with the Turkish government and the military itself is divided over Turkish foreign policy. Erdogan does not even trust half of Turkey’s own military leaders and has arrested forty of them for planning to overthrow him. How can he send such a force to even attack neighbouring Syria or think that he can control it during a broader war?

The Dangers of «Blowback» from Syria

While Turkey is trumpeting that it will not allow Kurdish militias to establish bases in northern Syria, the Turkish government is actually facilitating this itself. There is a real risk of «blowback» from Syria for Turkey. Like Syria, Turkey is a kaleidoscope of various peoples and faiths. The people of Turkey are held together by the primacy of the Turkish language and a shared citizenship. Turkey’s minorities constitute at the very minimum one-third of the country. A significant proportion of Turkey’s minority communities have ties to Syria, Iraq, or Iran.

The Kurds and other similar Iranic peoples alone form about 25% of Turkey’s population, which means one out of four Turkish citizens are of Kurdish and Iranic stock. Other ethnic minorities include Arabs, Armenians, Assyrians, Azerbaijanis, Bulgarians, and Greeks. No exact figures have ever been available about Turkey’s Shiite Muslims, because of the historical persecution and restrictions on Shia Muslims in Turkey from Ottoman times. Anywhere from 20% to 30% or more of the Turkish population may be categorized as Shiite Muslims, which includes Alevis, Alawites, and Twelvers. Turkey also has a small Christian minority, some of which have historic or organizational ties to Syria like Turkey’s Alawites and ethnic Arabs. Turkey will be consumed too, one way or another, should a broader sectarian conflict spread from Syria and should the Syrians be violently divided along sectarian fault lines.

The Self-Destructive Nature of Turkish Involvement in Syria

All the factors discussed above are a receipt for disaster. The possibly of a civil war in Turkey is a real possibility in an increasingly polarized Turkish state. Should Syria burn, Turkey will ultimately burn too. This is why a whole spectrum of Turkish leaders have been warning their country and people that that the consequences for the fire that Erdogan, Davutoglu, and Gul are stroking in Syria will have disastrous consequences for Turkey and all the countries bordering Syria.

Erdogan’s government has managed to alienate Turkey from its most important neighbours, hurt the Turkish economy, and destabilize their country’s own borders. This, however, is only the tip of the iceberg compared to the damages they could unleash on Turkey. The Turks have been walking into a trap, where they are slated for a self-destructive kamikaze operation against Syria. The US-led siege on Syria intends to create chaos across the entire Middle East and ignite multiple regional conflicts. Violence and conflict from Syria are intended to consume Lebanon and Iraq too. Within this mêlée, Turkey has been slated to be weakened and divided – just as the US, NATO, and Israel have envisaged in their project to create a «new Middle East».(http://www.strategic-culture.org/news/2012/05/30/sentenced-to-extermination.html )
